Our love story
Meeting
It all started at a happy hour hosted by Robert's sister. What began as casual mingling quickly turned into something more meaningful when we found ourselves walking to the beach with the group — but somehow, it felt like it was just the two of us. We walked side by side the whole way, deep in conversation, and something clicked. That spark only grew from there.
First date
Aug 17 2022Over dinner on our first date, we discovered our shared love for sushi, trying new recipes, and exploring new places—basically, we realized we’re both total foodies and adventure-seekers. That night laid the foundation for everything that came after.
Journey
Since then, we've traveled across countries and continents, taken road trips, and made a lifetime of memories in just a few short years. With the freedom of remote work and a shared love for exploration, we've decided to embrace life as digital nomads for now. We're excited to keep discovering the world together—and one day, put down roots, build a home, and maybe even add a few tiny travel buddies to the crew.
Engagement
One of the most special moments came when Robert proposed on the same beach near Santa Barbara where we took our first getaway. He arranged a beach horseback ride—a dream of Yana's—and as the sun dipped low, we paused by the water. Robert reminisced about that first trip and asked Yana to spend forever together.
